George Lehmann has been a photographer since the 70s, beginning with 35mm black and white film and learning the arcane techniques involved in darkroom processing. Though his career path led him into electronics and computer programming, he continued taking photos as a hobby through the decades. Equipment improved, technology moved to digital, and George kept up with the times, upgrading to satisfy his need to challenge himself technically as well as artistically in his photography.
